The Weekly Blobby: Who is the best?

Who’s the Best?

In a few weeks most of us will get to cast a vote for the next President of the United States? We will choose who we think is the best qualified to lead our country. This is a big deal and for many of us it will be especially difficult this time around. This decision will drive the direction and government of our country for the next several years. I believe deep down, most voters truly want the best for our country…we may differ on what we think that is, but we want America to be the best it can be.

When it comes to our fitness, it kind of begs the question,

‘Who’s the best trainer at Get Fit?’

We have a lot of trainers at Get Fit, and the coolest part is we are all different. Seriously! Some are strength focused, some love cardio, some the weights, I love the TRX and RIP modalities. And as clients, each of us has our preferences.

In the Bible, the Apostle Paul is dealing with a ‘who’s the best teacher’ controversy; and in a letter to a church in a city named Corinth, he says: “One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Peter”... In the end, Paul came to this conclusion, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord”. His point was, it’s not about the preacher - it’s about Jesus. It was not about the style of the message but about what each person would do with it.

And so my point, it’s not about the trainer, it’s about you. Who’s the best trainer? The one in front of you!

When you come to the studio, come with the attitude that no matter the muscle group, no matter the trainer, “I am going to give 100% to my workout”.

I promise, you will walk away better for it.

And for the record, please vote, every vote matters!
