Spaghetti Squash with Meat Sauce

1 Spaghetti Squash

1 lb ground turkey/lean beef

1 jar of clean marinara (check your labels--Costco Organic Marinara is 3 for $9.79!)

1 can of tomato paste

1 yellow onion

2 TBS garlic powder, divided (more if you really like garlic)

2 TBS onion powder, divided

1/2 tsp himalayan salt

pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350. Put ENTIRE spaghetti squash in the oven directly on the rack (no cutting necessary because these things are FIRM) and cook for 45 mins. When it is finished, remove from oven (caution, it will be hot). Cut in half, take out the seeds and center and then shred the squash with a fork to create the spaghetti. While the squash is cooking, brown your meat. Add the 1 TBS of garlic powder and onion powder when meat is fully cooked. Add your marinara and and tomato paste to the meat and remaining spices. Chop your onion and add to the sauce (I like to do big chunks). Bring sauce to a boil, and then let simmer. The longer the sauce sits, the better it is!
