25ish Things About Diana

1. I’m just going to start this off with peanut butter. Because duh, peanut butter is life. I am obsessed with peanut butter. I add pb to any food I possibly can and I buy anything peanut butter flavored. It’s sort of embarrassing how much money we spend on peanut butter a month. (my husband is also Team Peanut Butter) And it’s really hard for me to fathom someone NOT liking peanut butter.

2. When I turned 21 me and my best friend quit our jobs, packed all our stuff in a U-haul and moved to Las Vegas. I was there a little over a year and decided it wasn’t for me. 9 years later and she’s still there. Some people just can’t handle Vegas! ME being one of them.

3. Until I was out of High School I truly thought I was going to marry J.C. Chasez from NSYNC. BUT he never asked.

4. I’m married to Steph Curry. Well not really. But if I got a dollar for every time someone told me my husband looks like him I would be RICH! Last year at The Finals I actually got to meet Steph Curry and a few other Warriors. (I’m a huge basketball fan) So that was pretty cool for me.

5. I am a cereal killer. If I could eat it for every meal 7 days a week, I would. Between my cereal and pb obsession our silverware drawer is always out of spoons. My top 3 cereals are: Cocoa Krispies, Cap’n Crunch’s Peanut Butter Crunch, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. (I guess my taste buds never evolved)

6. One of my absolute favorite scents in this whole world is…puppy breathe. I LOVE it. And my husband calls me a weirdo for it. Whatever.

7. I am the baby of the family. I have 2 older brothers and 1 older sister.

8. Growing up I really wanted to become a police officer. I really wanted a rewarding and challenging career. And something about that “anything can happen” on your shift excited me BUT at the same time frightened me. My boyfriend at the time (husband now) talked me out of it. So glad he did.

9. My favorite day of the week is “Wednesday”. That’s been my husband and I’s day off together for the past 14 years.

10. When I was 6 years old I was jumping on my bed and somehow hit my forehead on the headboard. I remember freaking out because there was blood everywhere. Well we didn’t have ANY bandaids and my Dad didn’t feel like driving to the store so he put duct tape on the cut. And that’s how I got the scar on my forehead. Thanks Dad.

11. When I was in 5th grade me and two other friends made up a dance to “U can’t touch this” and performed it in front of our class. We were so proud in our hammer pants, but most of the class just laughed AT US. It was pretty embarrassing.

12. Fast forward to adulthood, MC Hammer DJ’d at my Wedding Rehearsal. No hammer pants though.

13. I don’t watch many TV shows, but there’s three that I can binge watch. Forensic Files (I should have been a detective), Golden Girls- Sophia is my favorite. And Impractical Jokers. I cry laughing EVERY time.

14. My secret celebrity crush is Jimmy Fallon. Yup, I said it.

15. It took my husband E L E V E N Y E A R S to propose. What a procrastinator.

16. I want to be a doer of good deeds.

17. One of my biggest regrets is getting the crown tattoo on the back of my neck when I was 18 years old. My Dad kept telling me I better NOT get it, and boy do I wish I would have listened to him. Him and I are extremely close and after I got it he didn’t speak to me for 3 weeks!!!! My best answer as to why I got a crown is because I was named after Princess Diana. (and just to add to that I hate when people call me princess)

18. I love going shooting and fishing with my Dad. It’s always been a thing of ours to do together. I’m not trying to sound cocky, but I’m a great fisherman and marksman.

19. I have to fall asleep with the TV on every night.

20. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about my grandmother. She passed away about 15 year ago. I have her picture on my bathroom shelves and I look at her everyday as I get ready. I miss her hugs so much and waking up to the smell of her french toast. (THE absolute BEST ever)

21. My taste in music is eclectic. I could be listening to Waka Flocka one minute then singing along with my all time favorite band Fleetwood Mac.

22. In 5th grade I went to a Halloween party dressed up as a clown. My Mom and I did my face paint and I actually loved my costume. When I got there all the girls were something “cute”. A cute cheerleader, cat, softball player etc. It was exactly like that scene out of “Mean Girls”. I remember leaving early because some punk boy stepped on my big red shoes as he said “cool costume”

23. I’m going to end with list with #23 because I’m a huge basketball fan and my favorite all time player is #23. Not the guy you’re thinking of (sorry MJ) it’s LeBron James. Go Cavaliers!
