1. I was born and raised in Minnesota, out in the woods, where it was five miles to town on a dirt road. It's a beautiful place, full of nature, making it a haven for sportsmen and outdoorsmen of any caliber.

2. I have three kids. Alex, Tessa, and Chance. Two that I actually gave birth to. I also have three Grands. Violet, Olive, and Graysen. Those three are my joy. And I can honestly say I know why they call it Grand.

3. I grew up flying around with my Dad, in his airplane, a 1946 Luscombe "tail dragger" two seater. He was a daring, crazy pilot when I was a kid, doing loops and tailspins. All the fun tricks that would definitely make you feel the G force! I loved it.

5. I have been driving since I was fourteen years old. In Kansas, it was called a "restricted".😳 Can you imagine... 14..?

6. My first car was a 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 fastback! It was fast, solid, light and had a four speed with a 289 engine. It was so cool!

8. I had a pet skunk in my early teens. Although she was unscented, she would still raise her tail and try to spray. It was adorable. She loved to follow behind me as I walked down the sidewalk, making it a lot of fun for passersby.

9. I love horses. My Grandpa in Minnesota adopted eight wild mustangs from Nevada, which I helped him train. I still also have a horse of my own.

13. I really love kids. I enjoy seeing babies interact with each other and observing the way they see the world with such sweet innocence. Much different than we grown ups do. Even toddlers are much more forgiving.

14. I have worked at Somerset Middle School as a noon Supervisor for almost thirteen years. I enjoy that age group also. I seem to have the ability to create a rapport with the students, especially those who need it the most.

15. I have a huge heart for everyone. And tend to see the brighter side of everything and the goodness in everyone! My Son says I'm "patient" and "forgiving" as well.

16. I'm a big bawl baby. When people's feelings are involved, or during movies (even cartoons), or listening to songs, etc.🤷‍♀️ I cry when I'm happy, too.

17. My favorite bible verse is Romans 12:21. "Do not be overcome by evil, overcome evil with good."

18. I have been married to my Husband, Nick, for 24 years... half of my life.

19. My Father-In-Law is Good Time Charlie, a legend in the tattoo industry and the owner of The End of the Trail Tattoo studio here in town. It was the first shop in the Central Valley over thirty years ago.

20. Once, about fifteen years ago, the kids and I rented a car and headed east from Minnesota, across Lake Michigan, to Niagara Falls, Boston, Rhode Island, and NYC. From there driving west across country, via Minnesota to collect our things and continuing west to California. It was a wonderful time... just stopping when, and wherever we wanted to. The freedom of the spontaneity without an itinerary is definitely something extraordinary.

21. Every time I pick up a banana, I put it up to my ear like a telephone and say, "Hello, Hello... it's for you!" Then hand it to them. It drives my kids crazy.🙄

22. Tessa and I went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras for her birthday which happened to fall on "fat" Tuesday. It was quite the party experience. I highly recommend adding this to your adult bucket list.
