1. I became a Christian the summer of 1997 at Mission Springs Camp in Santa Cruz, Ca.
2. My favorite passage in the Bible is Proverbs 31: 25-31. It is a daily reminder to me of the kind of women, wife and mother I strive to be.
3. I have 2 children; Noah is 5 and Braeden will be 3 in just a few weeks. They are my greatest gifts. They keep me busy, drive me crazy and bring me so much joy. They are truly my saving grace. They have taught me so much and given me so much strength during the most impossible times. I am so proud of them and the little men they are becoming.

4. I met my husband almost 13 years ago. I was shopping for my dream car (2001 VW Cabrio) and he was the car salesmen. I left that day with not only my dream car but my dream guy. I’d say I got a pretty good deal!
5. My family kept very active growing up. I was in dance, cheer and gymnastics. I also played volleyball in high school. But my greatest passion was swimming. I swam competitively most of my childhood and throughout high school. At age 15 I was awarded a medal for being top 5% in the nation for my age group.

6. I love music! It truly speaks to my soul. I came from a very musical family and started playing piano when I was just 4 years old along with singing in church and musical theater. I wanted so bad to be on Star Search! ( now I am really telling my age lol)
7. I love to organize things. Nothing makes me happier than the start of a new calendar, a new notebook, pens, markers and back to school shopping for supplies.
8. I am a total planner. I live by my calendar and sit down once a week, usually Sunday, and plan my week ahead. If I don’t I am totally lost and forget everything.
9. I am a lefty…which means the left side of my pinky always has ink on it, I cant just use regular scissors, can openers and I do not get along, my coffee cup is always backwards, writing in a spiral notebook or binder in nearly impossible unless its sideways but I am always in my right mind. ;)
10. I am pretty introverted as an adult….total opposite of who I was growing up. I hated quiet and being by myself…now those are my favorite times. Maybe it has something to do with being a mother and never being alone. Lol
11. I LOVE a good book. I have always been an avid reader. However, I do not understand the electronic book era at all. There is nothing like turning actual pages or the smell of a new book. Call me old fashioned but I will never convert.
12. I have always been a bit of a thrill seeker. I can remember the first roller coaster I was finally able to go on and I never turned back. With my parents’ permission, I bungie jumped when I was a teen and then for my husband’s 21st birthday we skydived together .

13. My pediatricians file on me was probably his largest as I was pretty accident prone. I broke my leg when I was 4 learning how to ride my bike without training wheels, sprained my ankles more times than I can count, got a hair line fracture in my knee, fractured my wrist, torn ligaments in my ankle and I am sure there is more.
14. Every September I get giddy. The start of fall is my absolute favorite time of the year because pumpkin everything-duh!
15. I love celebrating holidays….every holiday! We are a family big on traditions and I love getting to do special things with my boys from going apple picking, cutting down our own Christmas tree and making fun meals to represent whatever holiday it is.
16. I am an avid baker and cook. Being in the kitchen creating meals and treats for my family is one of my favorite things to do. If only I could hire someone to clean the mess after…that is my least favorite thing to do.
17. Not only do I love to cook but I am also a total foodie. I love trying new restaurants… however; I am not a huge fan of chain restaurants.
18. Ice cream is my favorite food. I have yet to find one I don’t like.
19. I had a near death experience when I was 20 and was hit on my passenger side by a minivan driving on the freeway. My car flipped 3 times and landed in a ditch by railroad tracks upside down. The only thing that saved my life was that I had a role bar in my convertible otherwise I would not be here today. Firefighters that came to the scene said that when they pulled up they were expecting to pull out a body and that it was a miracle I walked away with only bruises from my seat belt. I can remember every flip and praying to God to please forgive me of my sins because I truly thought that was it for me. God thankfully had plans for me still here on earth and it was not my time to go home.
20. One of my greatest accomplishments that was just for me was earning my degree. I was never encouraged to go to college growing up and it wasn’t until I got married that I realized it was something that I needed to do for myself to prove that I could. It took me nearly 5 years with 2 pregnancies between but I did it and graduated with a 3.8 GPA, something I am very proud of.
21. Writing is a great outlet for me. One of my dreams is to write a book and get published.
22. I have a huge passion for children. I always knew, even as a child, that I would one day be a teacher or work with children. Once my kiddos are both in school full time I will go back to school to get my Masters either in Special Education or Speech Pathology…still something I am praying about.
23. I am an admitted coffee addict. I need my cup of coffee every morning or I am sure bad things will happen.
24. One of my favorite cities to visit is San Francisco. The vibe in the city is just electric and so much fun. There is always something to do or see, even if it’s just sitting and watching the people pass by. It has been a favorite day trip date of my husband and I since we were dating.

25. My dream place to live would be Telluride, Co. The real estate there is ridiculous and you could find a shack for about a million dollars but that just speaks volumes as to how amazing this place is. If you haven’t been, it is a MUST!
