25 Things About Bear

4. Wifey calls me “babe”. I call her “wifey”. It’s weird when we use each other’s real names.

5. I’ve had 5 knee surgeries. Yeah they hurt sometimes.

6. When we were moving last, I failed to tie down my daughter’s playhouse in the back of the pickup. It ended up in a million pieces on the side of the road. I promised to build them a better one with stairs.

7. I am the youngest child in a family of 6.

8. I quit drinking alcohol 4 years ago in Las Vegas (1/6/2013) and switched to coffee. I now consume enough coffee to kill a small horse. It doesn’t matter what kind or where it’s from.temp-post-image

10. I believe in God. I believe in Jesus. I believe in the Holy Spirit.

11. My music collection varies across all genres, across all decades. Music is awesome. Favorite bands of all time are Social Distortion and Bad Religion. But there’s always room for some Waylon Jennings and Tupac.

12. Did I mention I drink LOTS of coffee?

13. I think we are all broken people and we all have issues. It’s a shame we all feel the need to put up a fake persona in fear of being judged…And are so quick to judge others.

17. Mexican food. All Day. Everyday.

18. I have a hard time finishing books. Once an author lays out the premise of the book I have a hard time reading the finer details of each point. I’m a big picture guy.

19. I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe God orchestrates certain things to fit together just perfectly to get our attention and implement His will.

20. I used to have an afro.temp-post-image

21. I was born on the same day as my oldest brother. He’s 4 years older than me to the day.

24. I recently read a book that changed the way I look at life (yes I finished it). It’s called Chase the Lion. The premise of the book: Quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. Run to the roar. Set God-sized goals, pursue God-given passions and go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention.

25. I was allergic to eggs for the first 30 years of my life (no omlets, cakes, cookies, etc.). Only within the last few years have I been able to eat them without having a reaction.
